MySchool MyVilliage MyPlanet is giving South Africans the chance to donate R1-Million to charities as well as the chance to win an awesome prize. This is how to get involved.

 

One of the country’s biggest fund-raising programmes, MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet has pledged up to R1 million in donations to various charities. The power is in your hands! The organisation is calling on South Africans to vote now for their favourite charity or environmental organisation. By voting in the Vote4Charity challenge, you guarantee a R5.00 donation to your charity of choice. Sharing your vote via social media ensures they get another R5.00.

MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet makes giving back really easy. Signing up for a card lets you select 3 charities and every time you shop at a selected store, they donate to your three charities on your behalf.

The organisation has partnered with hundreds of different charities, you can support animals, education, the elderly, environmental causes and so much more. The polls for the Vote4Charity campaign are open from the 18th of May to the 18th of June 2018. You can make your vote here. 

You need to have a MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet card in order to vote, if you don’t it is super easy to sign up for one and it is free. You can sign up for a card here.

As a finale to the challenge, Vote4Charity will also support each of the three charities with the most votes by funding the R25 000 production of a professional promotional video. Five lucky voters will also each win a R5000 Woolies gift card.
