There is a charitable movie night on the cards this month to help children receive life-saving facial surgeries and recover from burns. Inside Out is being played at the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens for the Smile Foundation’s annual fundraiser.

Gauteng, South Africa (11 November 2024) – We love a movie night and we also love doing good, so getting to do good while at a movie night is the best! The Smile Foundation is hosting its annual fundraiser where families are invited to watch a wholesome movie (this year it’s Inside Out) at the beautiful Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens out underneath the stars and surrounded by nature.

The Smile Foundation was founded after Nelson Mandela helped one child access the specialist facial reanimation surgery she so desperately needed. It was the simple step that birthed Smile Foundation and it has gone on to impact thousands of families in South Africa.

Today, the Smile Foundation passionately continues to keep Madiba’s legacy alive. To keep doing the incredible work it does, the organisation hosts various fundraising events. The latest is one for the whole family to enjoy!

If you and the kids would love to join, you can find all the information below:
