For South Africans living abroad, having the experience of home at a show is exhilarating, well, for those living across the pond, the local band GoodLuck is hopping over!

Cape Town, South Africa (12 October 2023) – For South Africans living overseas, the sounds of home are coming for you! Whether is homemade milk tarts and Easter Eggs, or a pop-up biltong shop, the tastes of old favourites or toe-tapping to your favourite bands SA Expats living overseas, love supporting locals! GoodLuck is visiting the UK, Ireland and Vietnam for a music tour and celebrating sold-out shows.

Having the chance to grow an audience overseas is always a big deal for artists, performers and bands. Time and time again we celebrate South Africans that are making it big overseas. Just this week Black Coffee made history for South Africa.

Now it’s GoodLuck’s turn! The amazing band has spent over a decade building up its fanbase. Inside info, the first concert the Good Things Guy team went to together, was GoodLuck’s album launch – in the days before the website was born. From signing international deals to bringing joy to crowds – the band’s trio are flying the SA flag high.

The band is setting its sights on a summer tour in South Africa and heading over to Ireland, United Kingdom and Vietnam.

Their six-city tour ‘GoodLuck Live in UK & Ireland’ for this October and November has already broken their own record by selling out the London show in less than 8 hours. The multi-city tour will see the band perform in Brighton, Southampton, Sheffield, Manchester, and at London’s O2 Academy, and for the first time ever, performing in Ireland at Dublin’s The New Academy venue.

“We are so looking forward to connecting with all of our beautiful fans from across the pond! It has been a hot minute and we have lots to catch up on. The energy of our UK fans is unmatched! I’ll never forget the sweat dripping off the ceiling the last time we played The Garage – it was a wild and crazy hot night!

On this tour we are bringing a show that takes people on a ride, it picks them up, knocks all the bad energy out of them and sweeps them off on a fast-paced roller-coaster of dancing! It’s a show that is about forgetting your worries, putting aside all the nonsense the world is throwing at us and letting go for a few hours of absolute fun!”.” – Juliette Harding, Lead Vocalist.

Then it’s on to Vietnam after the tour had been postponed for the last two years. Returning for a headline slot at The Monsoon Festival, which is huge!

The band is going to be busy but spreading that authentically inspiring and energetic South African sound along the way. You can follow along or find out more via the band’s Facebook page here.
