The Johannesburg SPCA staff have worked hard so far this year and deserve a great reward, the team is busy filling gift bags to say thank you, and if you want to contribute, this is what they need:
Johannesburg, South Africa (28 September 2023) – While the shops may not be playing Christmas music yet or putting out this year’s latest decorations, the festive season is gaining on us, and very soon, it will be here. The Johannesburg SPCA is getting its planning sorted early this year to ensure each of its selfless staff members receives a small treat this year.
They are making up 35 festive goodie bags for the 35 staff members who have worked tirelessly this year to care for the animals arriving at the SPCA.
“In a blink of an eye, Christmas shopping will start. Shops will put up decorations and we will be wondering where the year went.
But once Michael Bublé starts – we know Christmas is officially here!
This year we want to spoil our staff again with a “thank you” goodie bag for Christmas. Our suppliers and supporters support us every year and we thank each and every one – but now we ask for your help again!
We have 35 staff members – in their bags are various donated items, from sweets and chips to water bottles and pens! We fill the bag with anything and everything you donate. You can choose what you donate – all we ask for is 35 of the same items.

The team hopes to add chips, cool drinks, biscuits, sweets and any items that would make their staff smile to the bags.
