The Animal Welfare Society Stellenbosch’s capacity is strained to the breaking point. You can become a beacon of hope for animals in need and help keep the welfare’s doors open by joining the 1,000 Life Changers Campaign.
Stellenbosch, South Africa (27 August 2024) – The Animal Welfare Society Stellenbosch is facing a crisis as the number of animals needing their care continues to rise at an alarming rate.
Strained resources and increasing demands have pushed the organisation to its limits. With every animal surrender, the shelter’s capacity is tested, and the risk of animals being left behind grows.
“Our team has been working tirelessly to accommodate the growing number of animals in need, ensuring they receive the care, attention, and love they deserve. The reasons behind this surge in demand are multifaceted, ranging from economic hardships faced by pet owners to animals coming in as unwanted or abandoned.
“Regardless of the cause, the reality remains that more animals than ever are relying on our support for shelter, medical care, and rehabilitation,” shared Animal Welfare Society Stellenbosch General Manager, Jessica Perrins.
The organisation is urgently appealing to the public to become Life Changers through its 1,000 Life Changers Campaign and provide the critical support needed to ensure no animal is turned away.
With just R100 a month, you can become a Life Changer and help the organisation ensure no animal is left behind.
It’s a heartbreaking plea for compassion and action to help alleviate the suffering of these innocent creatures.
