MES received an upgrade to one of its youth rooms – a donation that symbolises a crucial step in bridging the digital divide and empowering young minds.
Johannesburg, South Africa (14 March 2025) – We are living in times where everything is advancing at a rapid pace and technology is taking the forefront in just about every area of our lives. From how we purchase our groceries to how we get important information – it’s all just a screen and tap away.
Doing away with old-school blackboards and white chalk, classrooms too, are becoming more and more advanced. The Nicarela Charity stepped in to make sure that disadvantaged youth don’t get left out by recently making a generous donation of a screen and projector setup for the Mould Empower and Serve (MES) non-profit organisation’s youth room.
The donation provides vital tools for visual learning, enhancing the educational experience for young people who come from backgrounds faced with limited access to such resources.
“Thanks to your kindness, our teenagers can now enhance their learning experience with visual tutorials, and our training centre will be better equipped to empower young people through life skills training and self-development classes.
“We are truly grateful for your generosity and dedication to making a difference. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us,” MES thanked.
MES offers essential social change aimed at solving systemic poverty and homelessness, through services and partnerships enabling a journey out of poverty and homelessness to sustainable development.
By investing in the education of young people, the Nicarela Charity and MES are ensuring young people are better equipped to navigate our advancing world and the demands it presents.
