The internet is dancing again… and this time, a Polish dancer with South African soul is stealing the spotlight.
Global (24 March 2025) – A new online dance trend has taken the internet by storm, and it’s bringing with it a wave of joy, rhythm and unexpected global connection. All set to the powerful intro of Beyoncé’s 2011 hit “End of Time”.
Originally sparked by Beyoncé’s choreographed routine that dancers across the world began replicating, the trend has since evolved. Countries are now adding their own flavour, flair and culture to the mix. And while you might expect South Africans to jump on this one with their signature style and unmatched groove, something curious has happened.
Oliwia Ratynska, an Afro dancer from Warsaw, Poland, is making serious waves online… and waving the South African flag while she’s at it.

Oliwia, who previously featured on Poland’s version of “Got Talent”, recently posted a high-energy video alongside four other dancers — and it’s giving full-on local “groova vibes”. From the movement to the expressions to the sheer rhythm, the performance feels like home. So much so, that many people in the comments thought the crew were South African.
“No 🧬 just 🇿🇦”
“As a country we are very very proud of you ❤️👏🏼🇿🇦”
The video, which dropped just two days ago (and racked up almost 2 million views), has been met with a flurry of praise. Not only for its technical precision and brilliant choreography but for the joy it brings. That kind of joy that has you watching it over and over, grinning like you just bumped into an old friend on the street.
“Beginning of the video I was ready to type ‘ningaphinde yezwa’ I’m sorry I judged you guys too early. This is awesome, Beyoncé choreographer was found shaking.”
“I know I’m not the only one who watched this a couple of times with a huge smile on my face ❤️❤️❤️💃💃🥰😍🔥🔥🙂”
“THE BEST one I’ve seen so far.”
“Killed it, Beyoncé can learn a thing or two.”
Whether it’s the rhythm, the moves, or the unmistakable energy, something about this performance just feels proudly South African. And that’s exactly what people are loving.
Oliwia and her crew may be dancing thousands of kilometres away, but the spirit they’re moving with? That’s homegrown. It’s joyful. It’s powerful. And it’s proof that our influence, our style, and our vibe continue to ripple far beyond our borders.
Turns out, you don’t have to be South African to move like one… but when you do it this well, we’ll gladly claim you.
