Look no further than Benoni for a world-class show. This local high school’s production left us with ALL the goosebumps!

Gauteng, South Africa (07 October 2026) – Every year, Hoërskool Hans Moore in Benoni hosts a major, full-scale revue production.

The show generally features a massive cast of upwards of 160 students and takes months of intensive rehearsals before hitting the stage.

The Moories go all out with incredible performances that include choreography, aerials, show-stopping costumes, sound engineering, professional lighting and the works.

Their previous revue productions – like Teenage Wasteland last year and To Build A Home in 2024 – earned top accolades at national school competitions like Kaleidoscope and 8 Beats Revue.

This year, the theme was ‘Between the Sand and the Night Wind’, and it was EVERYTHING!

One of the songs included in this year’s programme was Sting’s Desert Rose. Their incredible rendition left our jaws hanging on the floor. South Africa’s young talent is something else. Watch below.

The full production earned the school first place at this year’s Kaleidoscope competition and second place at 8 Beats. If you’d like to see more, the video below gives a wider glimpse of their award-winning, show-stopping revue!
