The Future President, Cyril Ramaphosa, is a man of the people. Early this morning he was spotted running on the Promenade in Cape Town and even stopped to greet everyday South Africans.
Western Cape, South Africa (15 February 2018) – South Africans across the globe woke up to the exciting news of Jacob Zuma’s resignation. After 24 hours of faffing, we finally have the opportunity to rejoice in the fact that South Africa is free of Zuma.
The even better news is that Future President, Cyril Ramaphosa proved he is a man of the people. He was out on an early morning run along the Promenade in Cape Town when he stopped to take selfies with everyday South Africans.
The photos have been shared on Social Media and South Africans are absolutely loving it! Annika Larsen shared the picture on her Twitter account and it is quickly going viral.
Ramaphosa is being compared to Nelson Mandela by people saying the last time we had a President that walked with the people, it was our treasured Tata.
“At last a Pres. That speaks well. Peoples person. He will make mistakes. He is human… but he will listen to the people. And opposition. Will be a healthy cabinet at last. Let’s stop the negative and support the man.” – Queenie @bergenhof26
“Last time a president walked and being greeted by people was during
#Madiba‘s reign! Fresh air all around!” – Justice Mthabine @justicebigM“Man, in my mind the presidential candidates to succeed President Mbeki were either Cyril or Trevor….how heartwarming to see both of them in this pic. Ye, we are back to sanity now!” – Sandisa Oliphant @SandiSebezo
