The year began with high hopes, resolutions, and big dreams. As it draws to a close, this is your reminder to pause and give yourself a huge pat on the back. To celebrate every win – big and small – because you deserve recognition for achieving, trying, believing, and consistently showing up to turn those aspirations into reality!
South Africa (14 December 2025) – Do you remember the goals you set at the beginning of the year? Or any hopes and dreams you had along the way?
If you achieved them or ticked off some of the things you really wanted to get done this year, well done! And even if you didn’t, this isn’t necessarily about whether you achieved them or not, but more about daring to dream and showing up every single day – and how you still are today!
It’s your year-end reminder to pat yourself on the back.
From January to December you have woken up, did the job, worked towards the dream, learned something new, unlearned habits that didn’t serve you, stepped out your comfort zone, worked towards paying off that debt, added to your savings, raised the kids, loved on yourself a little more, made a new commitment or dusted yourself off after life threw a curveball you never saw coming.
You did something meaningful, or you at least tried. And that matters so much. All the positive things we do and the efforts we make place us on the path to a better version of ourselves. It’s a day-by-day thing.
And even though a lot of us can’t help but measure our accomplishments against the year, for as long as you’re here and alive, there’s no deadline for doing the things you’ve set your heart on – not even the end of the year. And whatever you’re still silently praying for? Trust and believe that it can happen for you.
But giving yourself that year-end pat on the back (whatever that may look like for you) is so necessary and a worthy way to applaud yourself for how far you’ve come, friend. So, go on.
