Andrew Patterson caused quite the stir on social media recently after he completed his 365 Ubuntu Climbs, we shared his story and our readers fell in LOVE with him…

Earlier this month we shared the happy news that Andrew Patterson had completed his 365 Table Mountain climbs. Good Things Guy readers were so happy and a little bit excited about the news.

One reader got a little hot under the collar after the post went live.

Then the “Joburger” saw the picture and shared it on his Facebook page and that is when things got a little more steamy… people got very excited about his accomplishment and his looks!

“If he was Table Mountain a lot of ladies would take up mountain climbing.” – Tisa Kapwata

“Tisa Kapwata put it this way, if he was table mountain I’d start jogging” – Crystal Pretorius

Tsholofelo Tee Maloka replied to a friend who tagged her saying, “I agree, I would let him climb me, 365 times a year”

“Does this guy know how wanted he is” – Mammusi Nia Goërtz

And while Andrew probably has no idea that he has caused a stir on social media, he has been busy being photographed for Men’s Health Magazine.

“I never dreamed one day I would actually be featured in the magazine for work that I do. Yesterday was the interview, today was the photo shoot up Platteklip Gorge (front face of Table Mountain). To show you the power of using Networks already existing – if each reader contributed just R100 – collectively they’d raise R2 500 000.

Enough to build 8 new homes; supply books (and monitor each schools improvement) to 25 schools and add 277 new donors to the Sunflower registry.” – Andrew Patterson

Andrew is still working towards his goal of funding The Sunflower Fund; One Heart For Kids and Habitat for Humanity South Africa.

He has raised R 374 679.42 towards his goal of R 1 000 000.00 you can find the BackaBuddy fund here if you would like to contribute.
