The Angel Network is once again collecting funds to gift 1,200 orphans and vulnerable children backpacks filled with educational essentials for the festive season.

Johannesburg, South Africa (27 September 2023) – Every year, the Angel Network sets the goal to collect and raise funds for 1,200 backpacks filled with back-to-school goodies which they gift to orphans and children in need. They hand the backpacks out during the festive season when organisations start hosting year-end events.

The Angel Network works as a management organisation partnering with smaller organisations in need of funding and support. They rally their networks for help and then provide the aid needed to support smaller organisations. The organisation also supports individuals when they need it most.

Leading up to the festive season, the charitable organisation kicks it up a gear to reach as many people as possible.

Following in the footsteps of their successful 2022 campaign, the team are once again hoping to touch the lives of children in need, providing them with the tools needed for their education as well as bringing a little festive joy.

“Please help us gift 1 200 orphaned and vulnerable children with Christmas backpacks. For most, this is the only present they receive all year. Thank you in advance for your kindness” – Glynne Wolman, The Angel Network
