true friendship

Three Big Bay Academy learners showed us what true friendship looks like and simaltaneously inspired us to be kinder today.

Hugo, Rohan and Jesse are the best of friends and often spend time playing together at their school, Big Bay Academy. Just yesterday they showcased what true friendship should look and be like.

Rohan had hurt himself while playing and his friends knew that his walk to the car after school would be a struggle. Hugo and Jesse came up on either side of Rohan and offered him support.

“True camaraderie – Hugo, Rohan & Jesse

Rohan got hurt yesterday and his mates spontaneously helped him to the car at home time, when asked, Jesse said: “friends don’t leave soldiers behind!”

Their act of kindness inspired us and made us want to remind you all to go out and treat people with a little extra kindness today. These three boys remind us what true friendship looks like. We all need to be that friend at some point or are that friend in need.

Together we are better!

“Good friends will make your weakness strong, your joy multiply, your fears retreat, your laughter flow, your love expand, your worry light and your best self, better!” – Patti Tucker
