IVF

Adene Heinz-Krüger and her husband have tried everything to fall pregnant, they even launched a crowdfunding campaign to pay for IVF, and it worked!

South Africa – For some couples, it is incredibly hard to start a family that is why the Heinz-Krüger’s turned to crowdfunding to help them conceive.

The couple had done everything in their power to conceive, but nothing worked. They spent every cent they had to try and bring a baby into this world but just never got their chance. Refusing to give up, they took a chance on starting a BackaBuddy campaign. The campaign was a massive success and fully funded by over 16 backers.

They used the money to enter into their third round of IVF, and it worked. Earlier today, Adene and Rayno shared the happy news with BackaBuddy about their successful IVF.

“A wonderful thing happened this week…. hubby and I found out that I am pregnant!

After a long and tough battle trying to conceive with help from doctors, 3 IUI treatments, 2 surgeries, 3 IVF’s and a crowdfunding campaign with BackaBuddy, I can officially say I am pregnant. WOW, these words are still surreal!

When we started our IVF crowdfunding campaign earlier this year, we never expected to receive such a big response of generosity. But because of your donations, we have not only met our goal to do our 3rd IVF procedure, we’ve surpassed it!! We got pregnant!!

I know it is still early days and I have to be cautious, but this wonderful news is just too fantastic not to share with all of you.

You are all a treasure to us. Thank you for your continued support, faith, hope and love. Thank you for standing with us on this journey, even though the journey does not end here… there are lots more to come!

To BackaBuddy – thank you for all your service, guidance and backing. BackaBuddy is a wonderful initiative and such a positive way to support those who ask for a little help.

It has become trite to say it takes a village to raise a child but in the case of infertility, it truly takes a village to create a child as well.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

By sharing their struggle with infertility, Adene and Rayno have inspired so many to keep trying and to never give up. In a very heartwarming image, the couple made their baby announcement and placed every needle and tube they used to get to this point. The photo captures the hard work and struggles they faced to get to this announcement.

We wish the couple, the best of luck going forward and a healthy and happy pregnancy.
