Airport Security

Paulo-Jorge Da Silva Martins’ flight was delayed which meant he arrived at the King Shaka International Airport at 2 am. When he walked through the gate he saw an Airport Security employee with incredible talent.

Paulo-Jorge Da Silva Martins had a tough couple of hours. His flight had been badly delayed which meant when he arrived at the King Shaka International Airport in Durban, it was well past 2 am. Feeling tired and fed up he made his way from the plane into the terminal and was greeted with a beautiful melody from a nearby piano.

Once he spotted where the music was coming from, he pulled out his phone and started recording the incredible man. A Durban Airport Security official used the quiet airport as an opportunity to practice his beautiful talent. According to one commenter, this man is the Airport SAPS Constable. Whoever he is, he is giving a beautiful gift to exhausted travellers.

The video has left so many people in awe of the talent! Over 60-thousand people have seen it since it was shared (in less than 24 hours).

We have so much good in this country and we don’t have to look hard for it. A silver lining after one bad experience that will stay with you forever. Amazing!” – Justine Drysdale Lion-Cachet

“This is amazing….what a talent…what a blessing. Thank you for sharing…and thank you, Sir, for sharing your God-given Gift with weary travellers…” – Robynne Robb

  1. This piano has been there for years, we love it! My children all play the piano and they’ve all taken the opportunity over the years ( I think the youngest must have been 8 at his first impromptu performance) to play it for the captive audience.
