Gugu Zulu has wowed her fans and South Africans by making it to the finals of “The Voice of Germany” – The talented singer has a very bright future!

 

Hamburg, Germany (21 December 2021) – Gugu Zulu flew the South African flag high in Germany. She made it to the Voice of Germany Finals over the weekend and wowed with her performance.

Gugu Zulu is originally from Mandeni in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. She studied at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Zulu has been a singer for many years and even entered South African Idols season 13, making it to the Top 16. Zulu has also performed on The Lion King stage as Nala.

Zulu credits her music idols for her musical diversity, saying they are so varied. She has worked with Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Pj Powers, to name a few.

“You could definitely call me a jack of all trades because I am able to switch from one genre to another with ease. My love for music and professionalism help me achieve this of course. My musical influences are very vast as I have had the honour to work with so many different artists.”

Performing an original, “When It Goes Down”, she was joined by her coach Nico Santos.
