A random act of kindness by a South African man is reminding us that love knows no colour and the only was we can all rise, is by lifting up each other.

BI Phakathi, a motivational speaker, filmmaker and life coach is going viral for helping 2 homeless brothers with lunch and toiletries, giving them a little bit of hope to get though their battle.

But his act has sparked more than just hope for the brothers, it has giving other South Africans hope in each other!

In a time when racial tension is rife and our media is plagued with heartbreaking stories of division, BI is showing us that love knows no races and that as South Africans, we should all be helping each other.

The Good Samaritan found the brothers on a corner in Northriding, Johannesburg and decided that he wanted to help. He took them to a local store and offered to buy them groceries and food. The brothers wanted so little, but the incredible South African persuaded them to take more and even helps them choose things to make life a little easier.

While walking around, the brothers explained to BI that they are currently homeless and cannot find work. The video ends with BI asking them to wave when they see him again.

“The next time you see me just wave, I am your friend. I’m just a nobody. God Bless you.”

It’s also quite fitting that PINK is softly playing in the background while they are shopping. The words mean more than what most would have noticed.

We are problems that want to be solved, we are children that need to be loved. What about love? What about trust? What about us?”

The video has inspired everyone that has seen it, reminding us that love knows no colour and the only was we can all rise, is by lifting up each other.

Kruger Niemand posted: “This is the South Africa we all need to live for, take note people! Thumbs up and God bless you brother!”

Lunetic-KhosiLuu Ear added: “I love the fact that you don’t target certain people… you take everyone into consideration… this is awesome. I connect to this grace.”

Mookho Ra commented: “I love, love what you are doing and the fact that you don’t see colour, God bless you and may give you so much more.”

Robyn Mather Schultz said: “Ah! Incredible! Thank you for touching these people’s lives and for inspiring us to go and do the same! This is my South Africa”

Bianca Binxi added: “I have the utmost respect for this guy. Love knows no colour. Truly an inspiring human being. I always cry watching your videos. May you be blessed in all the ways possible.
