Eddy Msimango hosted a Christmas party for 200 children with different disabilities and it has inspired him to do more for the people of Johannesburg…

Johannesburg, South Africa – Eddy Msimango held a Christmas party for differently-abled children last year as a way to give back to other children that are just like his daughter.

Eddy is an exceptional father that does everything in his power to make sure his daughter has the best life possible. He became inspired by the Christmas party, after seeing how much joy it brought to the children. The charity bug bit him hard and he decided that 2019 would be the year to do more for more people.

Eddy contacted us to let us know he is working hard to make a difference but he just needs a little help. He has started an organisation inspired by his daughter, named Siphesihle Foundation. He has not registered it yet as he doesn’t have the admin tools available to run through the process of registration.

What he needs is assistance with working through the process to get registered. If anyone has experience in registering an NGO, please let us know and we will put you in contact with Eddy. He needs help with the admin side.

While he isn’t registered yet, he is hopeful and refuses to let the red tape get in his way of doing good. He started talking to various small charities and teaming up with small organisations to make a difference.

He got Sole2Sole and Aaron Rocks Your Socks to donate school shoes, socks and sandals so he could distribute them to people in need. He went to an orphanage called Ahanang in Soweto to hand them out.

“I managed to get sponsors from Sole2Sole and Aaron rocks your socks. It was a fulfilling experience to cater to those who are needy. I plan to do a winter campaign and possibly get sponsors of school jerseys and hand them out to the needy.”

Eddy has been working hard and has the support of the Angel Network, which is helping to pair him up with the organisations that share his love of making a difference.

So if you are able to assist, let us know.
