Seeking a haircut for a job interview, a man offered to be a hair model for anyone in need but he got more than he anticipated in return.

When money is tight, a trip to the hairdresser is considered a luxury. Keith Oxford, unemployed and saving money wherever possible thought of a clever idea to get his hair cut for an interview.

Hairdressers often need hair models to test new styles out on, so Keith made a post on the popular Facebook Group “I Know A Guy” asking if any hairdressers were looking for a male hair model.

“Anyone help a guy out? Willing to be a model for a hairstylist. Unemployed and got an interview tomorrow. Must try look decent”

Within a few minutes, Lisa Delport offered to cut his hair for free. Working at Exclusive Styling in Bryanston, she asked Keith to call the salon and make a booking for the morning. People were so moved by the gesture that they started sending Keith good luck messages for his interview.

One gentleman even offered to give him an interview if this one didn’t go according to plan.

Amoré Meyer said, “Kick ass in your interview tomorrow, I’m sure there’s a lot of us rooting for you”

Emma Van Der Spuy loved the post, “All the best Keith! This has been the most heartwarming thread of comments I’ve seen all week”

Shanelle Sal Willemse said, “All the best for your interview! Sending lots of light! Let us know how it goes!”

Simone Hannie added, “Wow..such heartwarming comments. Kudos to you for reaching out & wanting to look your best…much respect! All the best with your interview! This post and threads of comments make my heart happy!”

Keith was truly moved by the comments left on his post and felt hopeful for the outcome of his interview.

“So encouraged from all the comments and appreciated every one.”
