Jade du Toit found a curious parcel at the Waterfall Clinic in KwaZulu-Natal. It was a knitted blanket wrapped up with a letter, left for someone in need.

South Africa (04 July 2018) – Somewhere in KwaZulu-Natal, there is a person knitting blankets for people in need. We don’t know anything about them, only that they have an incredibly big heart.

Jade du Toit was at the Waterfall Clinic when something caught her eye. She walked over and found a little package with a knitted blanket and a letter to the person who would possibly find the package. She knew this was meant for someone in need so she snapped a picture to send to us and placed the packages back where she found it.

“Found this knitted blanket this morning at the waterfall clinic under a tree. We read the letter and left it there for the next person who may need it to keep warm. To the person who made this, thank you for doing this and making a difference in our community. We need more people like you” – Jade du Toit

This kind-hearted individual is anonymous but we see what they have done and applaud their effort in making South Africa a brighter place. If you spot one of these knitted blankets, send us a picture of it. Hopefully, they end up with the people who need them the most this winter.

Jade has confirmed that since she posted the image on her Facebook, her friends have all committed to doing the same thing.
