People4Purpose has teamed up with DearLi Design to add a touch of softness to the meaningful help that Linden CPF’s Victim Support delivers every day.

Johannesburg, South Africa (09 February 2026) – With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, a local non-profit is sharing the love with Linden CPF’s Victim Support Unit, which brings safety, comfort and support to victims of crime and abuse on a daily basis.

The support unit works alongside the community policing forum and SAPS in assisting traumatised victims at crime scenes. It guides them through the first few hours after experiencing a crime – the team contacts families, helps with necessary tasks, and provides counselling as and when it is needed.

The operation is run by trained volunteers, and all support they provide is free of charge.

In the month of love, the everyday heroes at People4Purpose alongside DearLi Design have set up a donation drive with the goal of helping the unit to support young and traumatised victims through one of the most frightening and vulnerable periods.

People4Purpose is a local NPO focused on the provision of necessities to the vulnerable and needy in Randburg and surrounds. DearLi Deisgn supports the NPO in creating community impact and meaningful change.

Until the 28th of February, the team is rallying to collect new and gently used pre-loved toys for children who are victims of crime, along with toiletries for adults, children and babies.

“Every teddy bear and toiletry item brings comfort, dignity and hope to someone who truly needs it.” the NPO shares.

Through this drive, the team hopes to ease the daily load carried by Linden CPF’s Victim Support Unit.

A fluffy teddy or toy that hasn’t moved from storage could find a new, meaningful purpose in bringing softness to a traumatised child. Basic essentials like soap, toothpaste or a facecloth bring dignity back to the most vulnerable victims.

“Together, we are showing what community love really looks like,” says People4Puropse and DearLi Design.
