A Tweet on Twitter is going viral for showing the best of South Africans. It features an employee of Fishaways doing the kindest thing… and she does it every day!

 

No matter what mainstream media might say about the state of South Africa, there is still so much good. We show you that every day and try to fill your newsfeed with as much good news as we can find.

We were sent a tweet this morning that made our hearts swell. It showcases everything that is good in South Africa. So if you have been feeling discouraged lately, take a look at this!

According to the Tweet, the man pictured visits Fishaways every day for lunch and every day, the Fishaways employee stands next to him and feeds him.

He comes from Rosedon House, a Cerebral Palsy facility in the Western Cape for adults that can no longer live on their own or don’t have a family to look after them.

Rosedon House offers independent supervised living, with each resident having their own room. Transport is provided to hospital and doctor appointments, sports association and social functions.

Residents who are able to work at a protected work centre, attend the Village Work centre and those who are not attend the Our Hope Occupational Group.
