Pixar has a knack for creating the most beautiful animated shorts, so they launched the SparkShorts programme, and the latest film has us sobbing.
Global – Pixar launched a programme called SparkShorts earlier this year as a way to discover and develop new storytellers. They have used the programme to create opportunities. Since it was launched, a few shorts have been shared.
The shorts are clever, tell the story in an emotive way and get people talking. They created the programme so they could explore other avenues of animation that don’t fit the Pixar image. There are currently six shorts made by the programme.

The short that has us blubbering this time is about a stray cat and an abused pit bull. The cat lives in a pile of rubbish, taking comfort in a soft toy. Then one day, a white pit bull is chained up in the same yard, the cat is scared but watches.
Then one day, after the pit bull is used in a dog fight, the cat slowly walks over to check if the dog is ok. They become friends and live happily ever after, kind of. Take a look below.
