Lee Loechler made the best proposal of 2019, he popped the question on the second last day of the year using his girlfriend’s favourite movie to do it.
The United States of America – Lee Loechler proposed to his girlfriend Sthuthi David in the best way ever! It is being said he made the best proposal of 2019 and we agree! The proposal was planned months in advance as Lee needed to animate himself and Sthuthi into her favourite movie.
On the big day, Lee took Sthuthi to the movies to watch ‘Sleeping Beauty’, her favourite movie. Like always they got snacks and set off to find their seats. The movie theatre was dark and they quickly sat as the movie started.
Everything was normal but little did Sthuthi know that her reaction was being filmed. When the prince made his way up the tower to find Sleeping Beauty, instead of the blonde beauty one would expect, the woman lying in the bed had dark hair and darker skin. She looked like Sthuthi.
Sthuthi gazed up at the screen in confusion. The characters were not the normal ones, she even whispered to Lee that she had never seen this version before.
It all became clear when the new prince (animated Lee) pulled out a ring and threw it for the real Lee to catch. Lee caught the ring and dropped the knee.
Sthuthi laughed with joy and Lee made a speech about his heart, a bit for Sthuthi as she is a cardiologist, and wanting to live happily ever after with her. She said yes and gushed about how all the strangers in the room must feel. Lee pointed out that the room was not filled with strangers but their entire group of family and friends.
The video has since gone viral and to be honest, we are crying! It is such a beautiful proposal and officially our favourite!
