Watch: Santa has arrived in South Africa… but he also fell off the boat that brought him here.

Christmas came early this year for South African beachgoers as Santa made a grand entrance with an accidental “bollemakiesie” off a boat.

Cape Town, South Africa – All you guys laughing at Santa are not getting Pressies this year!

A video posted to NSRI’s Facebook page on Saturday shows Father Christmas being transported to the beach on a boat, bringing gifts to beachgoers at Bakoven Beach in Cape Town.

It has become a tradition for Santa to visit South Africa’s beaches as the holiday season approaches.

Santa greeted the beachgoers with a “Ho, Ho, Ho!” before accidentally falling off the boat with a dramatic bollemakiesie (summersault) and then recovering to lots of cheers and laughter.

Clearly Father Christmas is more adept at going down chimneys but at least the NSRI were there too save him!
