Just as predicted, the snow has made an appearance across South Africa and so have the amazing pictures and videos!
Luke Bell uploaded a video of the record breaking snowfall in South Africa. This is the biggest snowfall in 10 years so he grabbed some friends hiked up Matroosberg mountain, only to snowboard down them.
And the footage is amazing!
The Matroosberg Private Nature Reserve is situated on the farm Erfdeel, which is a fully working farm, with interesting farm tours, but with that comes certain treatments to orchards that have to be done at night, but that is part of a working farm and completely different experience…real Adventure Style.
Snow is always good news. It sits on top of mountains where it is cool and then when things warm up, it melts and become part of rivers and dams.
Parts of the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Western Cape have received heavy snowfall recently, at least 10cm thick. Other parts of South Africa were also set to see some snowfall and it hasn’t disappointed!
