A week after his first DP World Tour victory, the young South African lifts the SA Open trophy at home.
Stellenbosch, South Africa (02 March 2026) – It’s been a week Casey Jarvis will never forget.
Just seven days after claiming his maiden DP World Tour title, the 22-year-old South African has done it again. This time, he lifted the Investec South African Open trophy in front of a passionate home crowd, going back-to-back and writing his name into the history books of one of the country’s most iconic tournaments.
And if his reaction is anything to go by, the moment hasn’t quite sunk in yet.
“To win in front of my home crowd, my home Open, it’s just absolutely fantastic. I’ve got no words.”
Despite tricky weather conditions, persistent rain and even a lightning delay, the young star kept his cool to close with a three-under-par 67 and secure a three-shot victory.

The win also continues a proud trend for South African golf, with Casey becoming the latest local champion to lift the trophy at the national Open. But beyond the numbers and streaks, this is a young South African living out a childhood dream in front of family, friends and fans.
And the rewards don’t stop there.
For the first time in the tournament’s history, the SA Open champion earns an invitation to the Masters Tournament at Augusta National. He will now tee up among other golf elites in 2026 while also booking his spot at The Open Championship, two of the most prestigious events in world golf.
“To have achieved that is incredibly special. I’m really looking forward to Augusta, it’s something you dream about as a kid. Hopefully Tiger Woods is there, as he’s always been a role model of mine. And to compete in The Open, with all its history, is just unbelievable.”
From winning his first DP World Tour title to conquering his national Open a week later, the world of golf has opened up in spectacular fashion for Casey Jarvis.
