Gold Medals Sates Swimming Olympics Commonwealth games

Chad le Clos has just secured another Gold for Team South Africa and other athletes are breaking records and gearing up for more wins.

 

Chad le Clos has joined the ranks of Gold winners at the 2018 Commonwealth Games for his win in the 50m Butterfly Final. He has joined Henri Schoeman in bringing a gold medal home.

Fellow South African swimmer Ryan Coetzee bagged the Bronze in the same swimming race. Chad will be back in the pool for the freestyle relay final at 14:07, SA time.

South Africa is currently 6th on the medals table with 3 medals. Leading the group, is England with 17, 9 of which are gold, followed by Australia, Canada, Scotland and India.

Sunday is going to be an exciting day as it is filled with the start of all Athletics sports. South Africa has 28 men and women representing.

Team South Africa are on Twitter and have all the latest updates live from the Gold Coast. Including Tatjana Schoenmaker, who has set a new record in Africa for the 100m breaststroke.
