Hikers with big hearts, the 16th Cableway Charity Challenge is just around the bend! Here’s all you need to know about the biggest event on Table Mountain’s calendar:
Cape Town, South Africa (28 January 2025) — The 16th Cableway Charity Challenge is officially around the corner, and hikers with big hearts can start throwing their hats in the ring!
Now in its 16th run, the Cableway Charity Challenge has become the biggest event on Table Mountain’s calendar; it has been responsible for raising R16 million for worthy causes since it began.
Last year, the Cablewat Charity Challenge surpassed its R1 million mark in funds raised, a massive testament to what can happen when enough people put their endurance to the test for the empowerment of others.
Some run, others jog and a few might even crawl. But no matter how one gets up the mountain (or how many times), everyone comes down feeling a sense of accomplishment that positively impacts those who most need it.
