Mexico

The 2018 World Cup brings countries together in the best way! Mexico and South Korea just had the best encounter after Germany was booted from the World Cup.

Even if you are not following the World Cup, moments like this really make one smile. South Korea beat Germany, pushing them out of the World Cup. By doing this, it ensured that Mexico went through to the next round.

As soon as South Korea won their match, Mexicans across the world started celebrating the victory. In Mexico City, fans descended on the South Korean Embassy and asked for Consul General Byoung-Jin Han. They started chanting “Korean brother, you are now Mexican”.

The crowd hoisted the Consul General onto their shoulders and celebrated the win together. They then placed him down safely and got the official to take a shot of tequila in celebration of their joint victory.

The videos of the event went viral and people can’t get enough of the comradery

The World Cup has been filled with good vibes and spirit. It proves that we can always come together and celebrate the good things. The world isn’t as bleak as media would like to have us think. We love stories like this, what do you think?
