South Africa’s senior women’s artistic gymnastics team shines on the international stage, clinching silver at the Rushmoor Rose Bowl in England.

 

England, United Kingdom (29 October 2025) – From South Africa to England, Team SA flipped and twirled their way to a stunning result. South Africa’s senior women’s artistic gymnastics team proudly brought home silver at the prestigious Rushmoor Rose Bowl International in England, showcasing their talent on the international stage.

The squad made of Chantae Moller, Kaylee Maltz, Leilah Rauch, Karmia Van Jaarsveldt, and Jessica Rautenbach, impressed judges and fans with their skill and composure to finish second in the national teams section. Their performance highlighted South Africa’s growing presence in global gymnastics and demonstrated the dedication required to compete at the highest levels.

The Rushmoor Rose Bowl is one of Britain’s most renowned gymnastics invitationals, attracting elite gymnasts from across the world. Now in its 44th year, the event continues to evolve to meet the demands of modern gymnastics, with upgrades including a fully replaced main floor area and the latest Gymnova vaulting tables, allowing competitors to perform at full international standards.

For Team South Africa, competing in England demonstrated the strength of South African gymnastics and built valuable international experience. Each gymnast brought her own flair to the routines, from elegant floor work to powerful vaults, contributing to the team’s remarkable overall score.

The silver medal is a testament to the gymnasts’ talent, but also to the coaching, support, and infrastructure that help South Africa’s athletes thrive internationally. By blending hard work, dedication, and teamwork, Chantae, Kaylee, Leilah, Karmia, and Jessica have inspired young gymnasts in South Africa to dream bigger and reach higher.
