Cape Town, South Africa (22 July 2025) – Saturday night in Cape Town was one for the books! The first-ever PFL Africa event brought the heat to the GrandWest Arena. Two South African stars stole the show, leaving fans inspired and excited.

First up, Justin Clarke from Pretoria set the tone for the evening with a commanding win. The heavyweight fighter stepped into the spotlight and showed he meant business, ending his match just as the first round wrapped up. The medical team had to call it as his opponent could not continue. That is how powerful Justin’s performance was! He is now unbeaten in all three of his professional fights and is officially heading to the semi-finals of the PFL Africa tournament. Bonus fun fact? Justin trains at the same gym as UFC superstar Dricus du Plessis. Talk about a winning circle!

Then came the roar of the night, Nkosi “The King” Ndebele made his long-awaited return to fight in front of a South African crowd after seven years away. Born in Germiston and raised in Diepsloot, Nkosi brought all the heart to the cage. He wrapped up his match in under five minutes, leaving the crowd on their feet cheering. It was everything you would want from a hometown hero. With this victory, he moves on to the semi-finals too. Making him one step closer to the championship title.

It was not just about punches and wins. It was about pride, resilience, and seeing local fighters shine on a global stage right here at home.

Joburg hosts the next round on 9 August and you can bet South African fans will be rallying behind the local kings!
