As a winter storm bears down on New England, one woman has a warm place to stay thanks to the help of a Seekonk, Mass., police officer.
The Seekonk Police Department shared this post on their Facebook page Sunday night about the generous actions of Officer Perry:
The post reads: “After to coming to the aid of a woman in distress tonight, Officer Perry discovered that the woman was homeless and hadn’t eaten in quite some time. He then took it upon himself to buy her some groceries and helped her get to a hotel room to ride out the snow storm. Officer Perry epitomizes the meaning of Public Service. #classact”
