Parents outsmart cheeky children by taking the wifi router for fun day out

Parents Cassie and Chris offered a fun day out to their kids which was quickly snubbed as boring, so instead, they took the wifi router out.

Warrnambool, Australia – Children can be quite mean at times and snub a well-meaning parent that just wants some quality time together. This is what happened to Chris and Cassie Langan when they approached their children for a day out.

Their children thought a day out was the most boring thing ever and would rather spend the day home playing games and watching Netflix.

So Chris and Cassie took the wifi router on an adventure instead. They felt the router, named “Modem” deserved a break being the most hardworking family member of all.

“We asked our kids if they would like to go on a day trip to Warrnambool today and were met with the response ‘that’s so boring, I don’t want to go’. Chris and I decided that instead of taking 3 unappreciative kids out, we let the ones who didn’t want to go stay home and took our most overworked family member for a well deserved day out….. our modem.

“Modem had a fantastic day not being used by the kids and it was lovely not to listen to constant bickering. The only complaining was Evan being mortified that we took our modem out in public”

The Langan’s took photos of everything they did that day. We think they are genius so should your children ever snub an offer to head out with you, take the wifi router instead, after all, they are pretty useful little tools.
