A video of a police officer dancing to Beyoncé’s ‘Formation’ has gone viral after he played the routine and it was uploaded on social media.
Deuntay Diggs, a Virginia police officer has gone viral after slaying Beyoncé’s ‘Formation’ at a pep rally at North Stafford High School.
Diggs is not only a police officer, he is also a young, dynamic, motivational speaker who presents a fresh dialogue on issues of race, sexuality, and diversity within his communities.
He provides insight and shares his own personal and unique cultural experiences as a roadmap on how to achieve change and acceptance. He went from a poverty stricken family, to a Virginia Military Institute graduate, and then ultimately became a 2nd Lieutenant in the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
Diggs was the first openly gay cadet to graduate from VMI as well as the first openly gay deputy at the Sheriff’s Office.
The talented police officer learned the entire dance the night before his original performance.
“I just watched her video on YouTube over and over again, and then I memorized it, practiced it, and the next day I did it,” he said.
