Matthew Deyzel returns home from the UK with a carefully planned surprise that brings laughter and tears for his mother’s 60th.

Port Elizabeth, South Africa (27 November 2025) – After six years away, Matthew Deyzel returned to Port Elizabeth with a secret plan that would leave his parents speechless. For Matthew, originally from Port Elizabeth but currently living in the United Kingdom, it was a heart-warming mix of laughter, tears, and pure joy as he surprised his parents for his mom’s 60th birthday alongside his sister.

The celebration was full of priceless moments. From walking into a restaurant and sitting beside his dad, to the endless hugs and shocked expressions. The emotions were genuine and unfiltered. There wasn’t much talking, just the kind of laughter and happy tears that make a day unforgettable.

Matthew shared the moment with his followers, letting them in on the secret he had been keeping for six years.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to live out an absolute fantastic 6 years in the making, surprising my folks and coming home for the first time since 2019.”

It’s the joy of family reuniting and the reminder of how special moments with loved ones can be, especially after years apart.
