Telkom brought GoodLuck and Black Motion together to create a Proudly South African Christmas song based on the classic 12 Days of Christmas.
South Africa (27 November 2017) – GoodLuck and Black Motion teamed up to create a Proudly South African Christmas song based on the classic 12 Days of Christmas. This South African jingle features a love story and has a happy ending for the couple in the music video.
GoodLuck is an electronic band from Cape Town. The lead singer Juliet Harding features in the vocals of the 12 Days of Christmas song with her bandmates on the electronic side. Black Motion is made up of Dj Murder and Thabo aka Smol who played drums in the music video.
The song itself is very relaxed and typically South African by including traditional drumming.
In the spirit of Christmas, Telkom brought together two of SA’s top musical talents, GoodLuck and Black Motion to collaborate and bring you a fresh, funky and authentically South African Christmas carol, the 12 Days of Christmas.
