A man rejected by both Uber and Taxify for 3-years has come up with his own business opportunity and it is going to be a big hit in South Africa!
ScooterRSA was launched by Fezile Dhlamini after he was continuously rejected by South Africa’s leading mobile app transportation companies. He had applied for a job at both Uber and Taxify but was rejected becuase he didn’t meet their criteria.
Not willing to give up, he worked really hard and has been able to bring an electric transportation option to South Africa. The best parts of this story are that 1. Fezile is a local so the company would be 100% South African and 2. he is offering a greener option for commuters.
The service will work the same as all the others available, via an app. The electric scooter has a roof so it is an enclosed transportantion method. The scooter will have space for all your shopping as well as you.
Fezile is currently scoping out the first batch of scooters in Sweden and once he has aquired them, he will launch the business in South Africa.
