Gift of the Givers purchased and donated a fire trailer for the communities between the Garden Route and the Eastern Cape.
Eastern Cape, South Africa – Gift of the Givers has once again made a life-changing donation to a community. This time the donation is a proactive one and was given to help assist when fires flare-up.
Whenever there is a disaster, drought, fire or political hostage, Gift of the Givers is there to offer aid to those in need. Since founding 27 years ago, the organisation sends volunteers all over the world to assist however possible.
“Gift of the Givers always responds to disasters. That’s our speciality. That’s how we were founded. Our first project was to respond to the civil war in Bosnia,”
Now they do so much for South Africa and the global community at large. They donated a fire trailer to the Eastern Cape and Garden Route to help prevent the spreading of wildfires. They did so as the stretch between the Eastern Cape and the Garden Route is prone to fire flare-ups.
