Now in its 31st year, Reach for a Dream’s highly anticipated raffle draw is back to turn the deepest wishes of children facing life-threatening illnesses into magical reality.

South Africa (14 September 2026) – Giving young children burdened with health challenges the opportunity to live out their deeply held dreams, even if just for a day, is what Reach for a Dream is all about. Its Dream Raffle is a fundraiser that strives to make those dreams a reality.

The annual raffle is a highly anticipated event aimed at bringing hope to children facing life-threatening illnesses.

Now in its 31st year, the initiative continues to inspire by offering once-in-a-lifetime prizes while raising critical funds to fulfil dreams and bring joy to children during their toughest moments.

It is the magic that comes alive when a teen’s love for rugby turns into an unforgettable experience meeting Siya Kolisi and the Springboks, or when four brave warriors embark on a fun-filled adventure and receive the cellphones or laptops they had long dreamed of owning.

It is joy, once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, feeling seen and supported, and just getting to be a kid.

Entries to the Dream Raffle are only R200, with only 10,000 tickets available exclusively at www.dreamraffle.co.za. The final draw will take place on 7 December 2026. Every ticket sold helps Reach For A Dream to create hope and uplift the spirits of young patients and their families across South Africa.

“This year, we have even better prizes to make the lucky winners’ dreams come true. By buying a R200 raffle ticket, the public can help us continue to fulfil seven dreams a day across the country,” says Julia Sotirianakos, CEO of Reach For A Dream.

Up for grabs this year is a grand prize of a brand-new adventurous Jetour T2 Aspire sponsored by Lazarus Motor Company (plus a year’s worth of fuel from Discovery Insure), a 7-day Mediterranean MSC cruise for two, and a Philips Series 5500 Espresso machine with a year of Avanti coffee.

All raffle operations are fully compliant with the National Lotteries Commission guidelines. Tickets are securely managed through the official Dream Raffle website, which tracks entries and limits in real time.

Help make a child’s dream come true today because your dream starts here; theirs starts with you.
