“My SPAR” has launched a campaign to help little South Africans get new school shoes for less than a loaf of bread and milk! For every R500 spent, shoppers can buy a pair of kiddies school shoes for just R40, but communities are taking this one step further… and using the cheap price to donate the shoes to kids in need!
Within hours of the campaign going live, South Africans took to social media to promote how they would be sharing the joy of new school shoes, to those in need this festive season.

New shoes bring hope!
To many, a pair of new school shoes is just an addition to the standard school uniform. Nothing more than an annual update but to some, it is a goal, something to take pride in and care for.
Millions of children in South Africa live below the poverty line. Terms and Conditions
- The promotion is valid from 27 October – 10 January 2021.
- The stock of the Bata school shoes is limited, and the offer is valid while stocks last.
- Bata school shoes are available in kids’ sizes 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 1 only.
- Spend a minimum of R500 and swipe your SPAR Rewards card to qualify.
- Only one pair of shoes may be redeemed per qualifying transaction (irrespective of the spend amount over R500)
- Take your till slip and additional qualifying slip to the in-store kiosk.
- Buy your Bata school shoes for only R40.
- Your Bata school shoes need to be purchased from the same store you obtained your qualifying slip from.
- Please ensure that you purchase the correct shoe size, as returned / exchanges will not be accepted.
