Hundreds of charities support South Africans, helping them cope with disease and illness, access funding, and keep fighting even when things get tough.

South Africa (22 January 2025) – Diseases, disabilities and illness affect so many South Africans. Most have a group of dedicated supporters who fight to raise awareness and support people with their illnesses. There is even an organisation that specialises in rare diseases to help the rare few who don’t have large groups to stand with. This year, let’s stand by those fighting fierce health battles.

All of these healthcare organisations are making an impact on the South African healthcare system. A system that often struggles under the weight of the need. And the lack of resources available for the ones who need it most.

We have listed all the incredible groups we have worked with over the years on this helpful charity list. This list highlights the various healthcare and medical causes.

If you are looking for organisations that deal with mental health, find that list here. You can also find the charity list for organisations fighting cancer here. The rest, you can find below.
