A rescue dog who was badly abused was so scared of everything until she met a little baby, who soon became her very best friend!

Elizabeth Spence and her husband love to rescue animals. They currently have SIX adopted companions (3 dogs and 3 cats).

The couple has a hard time saying no to any animal who needs a home, and tends to gravitate towards animals who no one else seems to want. Nora, an 8-year-old English pointer, had a rough start to life, and was severely abused, leaving her terrified of absolutely everything — except for 11-month-old Archie.

Nora met the youngest member of the family and fell in love. And now the two are practically inseparable. The photos say it all…

“If Archie is having a bath, Nora is lying on the bath mat waiting for him to get out,” Spence told The Dodo.

“If I’m nursing him she wants up on my lap, too. If he’s going through my cupboards throwing all the dishes on the floor, she’ll be there cheering him on.”
