All Blacks

The All Blacks went around tackling innocent citizens of Japan, at first you are shocked by it, then you start to laugh and at the end you are moved by it.

At first you will be completely shocked by what you are about to watch then at some point it becomes hilarious and in the end it all makes sense. The All Blacks did an advert for their sponsor AIG, an Insurance company.

The Advert see’s the All Blacks arriving in Tokyo where they start tackling citizens really hard, throwing them down on the ground or kicking them in the heads with a rugby ball.

The campaign slogan is #Tackletherisk.

Everyday life is full of surprises and risks. AIG teamed up with the All Blacks to protect the people of Tokyo. #TackleTheRisk.

This special movie is based on AIG’s concept of ACTIVE CARE – a commitment to delivering a total customer experience that helps you mitigate risk instead of just dealing with the consequences when life catches you by surprise.

The All Blacks are said to have really enjoyed the shoot but because they were due to play the next week most of the video made use of stunt doubles and body doubles to make sure that none of the players were injured before the Lions Tour.

“The All Blacks had a great time stopping traffic in Tokyo for the AIG #TackleTheRisk advertisement” – said Todd Barberel, New Zealand Rugby head of marketing, brand and commercial development.
