It all started when a Dutch satirical show produced a cheeky tourism ad introducing the U.S. President to the “tiny country” and asking Trump (in his own voice) if he would make ‘The Netherlands Second?’
We totally understand it’s going to be America First — But can we just say ‘The Netherlands Second?’ That was the Dutch plan for Trump’s presidency.
The video was a spoof message by news satire show Zondag met Lubach to officially introduce Holland to Trump “in a way that will probably appeal to him the most”.
Now other countries including South Africa are following suit and producing a range of parody videos.
“Welcome to this introduction video about South Africa, its going to be great okay… so great… the best.”
Featuring the infamous sign language interpreter, Nkandla, vetkoek, Zuma must go, Hofmeyr, Thuli Madonsela and the Guptas… the parody video recognizes that Trump has put America first but asks him to put South Africa second.
“Walls, oh man we’ve got walls… tons and tons of the most amazing walls you’ve ever seen.”
