Adorable baby panda that won’t let go of keeper’s leg goes massively viral for obvious reasons.
This cub that lives in China’s Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding has become an international sensation overnight after the Facebook page iPanda uploaded this video of its absolute love affair for one of its keeper’s legs.
The base, which opened in 1987, is a nonprofit research and breeding facility for the endangered Asian Bear.
There are an estimated 1,600 giant pandas left in the wild and some 300 in zoos and breeding programs worldwide, according to the Smithsonian National Zoological Park.
The cubs are dependant for about two to three years. However usually only one cub survives to maturity. Often only one baby panda will be nurtured and the others rejected.
Awkward while young, the cute giant baby panda is clumsy during development. It will trip, roll, fall, and stumble its way around to explore its environment and they demand a lot of attention… as seen in the video below.
Since it was uploaded yesterday, the video has been watched over a whopping 116 million times.
To put that in perspective, if views were votes, this panda could have won the presidential election.
