A South African video featuring a “Cape Flats” version of a Beyoncé song is going viral, not only because it’s funny but because it’s really good too.

Cape Town, South Africa (06 October 2016) – This awesome “Cape Flats” video, which features Felicity Kiran, Anray Amasure and Lauren-Lee Bock from the cast of Woman2Woman, has been doing the rounds on social media.

The show, which will be held on 28 and 29 October 2016, celebrates women by highlighting their experiences, their challenges and the importance of sisterhood through song. And 10% of all the proceeds will be donated to CANSA in support of Cancer awareness month.

The ladies created the video hoping to promote their show but never expected it to go viral! There are a few versions of the video floating around social media, but collectively they have been viewed over 300,000 times and shared over 30,000 times.

The three ladies kept the sound and structure of the song the same; however, altered a few lyrics and delivered them in a strong accent.

Our best bit is where one of the singers nearly loses it and almost says, “I can have a ma se p… in a minute” before being stopped and then breaking out into a belter of a chorus.

They call it “Stap Links” and you can see the full performance below:

And even though the video may be funny, these ladies are extremely talented and really do mean business.

During a recent interview with Channel24, the ladies gave a sneak peek performance into their Women2Women show with a song that is also a message to the president.
