Stationary for Stationery School challenge

Yeshiva Boy’s High School started the 2017 school year “stationary”. The school created a charitable Mannequin Challenge and challenged Yeshiva Girl’s High.

The idea to use a trending internet challenge for good is the best use of any internet challenge, perfect examples are the #RAKnomination which turned drinking into charity, the ALS Ice-Bucket Challenge which helped raise enough money to fund ground breaking research in the field and now thanks to Yeshiva Boy’s High we have a Mannequin challenge for charity.

The inspiration came from Head Students and Chessed Committee. The idea was that each of the boy’s brought items of stationery from home to be collected for an underprivileged school. The challenge is called Stationary for Stationery.

Yeshiva College Boy’s High School posted their video online last week and it looks like they had a lot of fun for a good cause. In the video you can see each of the students standing or posed like a mannequin holding their stationery donation.

After the challenge was filmed all the stationery was collected to be donated.

The Boy’s High School went one step further and challenged not only the video viewer but also the Yeshiva Girls High School. The girls took up the boys challenge and a few days later they posted their Mannequin Challenge online. The girls high school previously took part in the ALS Icebucket challenge, when they dumped buckets of ice water on their teachers.

The stationery collected by both schools is destined to go to a good cause and help out an underprivileged school. The girls high has also challenged all viewers to do a “Stationery for Stationary” challenge.

Some fans of the challenge have said:

“Amazing!!!”

“Love this!”

“Wonderful initiative”

This is another internet challenge we hope goes viral. If your school or company takes part in this amazing challenge remember to let Good Things Guy know so we can share another amazing challenge for charity!
