Charlize Theron is currently on a press tour for her latest movie ‘Atomic Blonde’, recently she appeared on the ‘Kelly & Ryan’ show and boasted about SA.
Charlize Theron is promoting her latest action packed movie ‘Atomic Blonde’ on nearly every talk show in America at the moment and as usual everyone is really curious about her South African heritage. We shared her awesome catch up with South African comedian Trevor Noah earlier today and now there is a cool interview with Kelly and Ryan.
Kelly starts by asking in she ever goes back to South Africa, which is all the time apparently! Mostly during the summer time as is just works out with her young kids, August and Jackson.
“South Africa is an incredible place! If you’ve never been… Go!”
Ryan then chimes in asking if Charlize has ever heard of a thing called Mrs. Balls chutney because his South African friends always rave about it.
“South African’s will put chutney on anything! It’s so good! I’ll put it on Spaghetti Bolognaise”
She also discussed having spoken Afrikaans until she was 19 and using it as a way to have adult conversations with her mother. She has said her children are starting to catch on to the conversations so they are having to be more careful about what they say.
Chris Hemsworth had said that Charlize should be the next Jams Bond and we completely agree, our SA darling can be anything!
All in all the interview was absolutely brilliant and as always Charlize was radiant! Watch the full interview below.
