A new and VERY funny advert has been released, explaining where the Springbok management team got the idea for their colourful lights – we are here for these kinds of laughs!

South Africa (20 September 2023) – South African marketing brains are some of the best in the world. There are so many brilliant adverts out there that make us laugh out loud at the moment! On Good Things Guy, we always celebrate the humour shared through these adverts. You need only scroll the pages and pages of features to see just how funny South Africans really are.

Many South Africans have been wondering exactly what the colourful lights used by Rassie Erasmus during the Springbok games were. And we may have just found their origin story…

A hilarious new advert was released last night showing just how Rassie came up with the idea and where he may/or may not have acquired the lights.

We were left in stitches this morning watching the ad by Switch Energy. We shared several of their funny adverts in August and have loved them all.

As always, this isn’t a sponsored post or even an advertorial – we’re just here for the laughs!

One commenter claimed that this advert will end up being one of the greats!

“This is gonna be one of those classic South African Ads. Up there with Nandos and Chicken Licken. Excellent” – @ThePhilomathe
